Arjo Clean™ from ArjoHuntleigh provides just the right balance between effective and mild, and once its job is done, the liquid decomposes harmlessly in the environment.

Arjo Clean is an important part of cross contamination prevention, and its primary function is to eliminate microorganisms. The cleaning agent removes bodily waste, dirt, fats, oils and grease from the bathing equipment.

First aid measures

General information Remove any clothing soiled by the product.
After skin contact After contact with skin, wash with plenty of soap and water.
After eye contact In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water,
for at least 15 min and seek medical advice.
After ingenstion Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water. If swallowed, do not induce
vomiting. Seek medical advice and show this container or labe to the physician.

Fire safety

Suitable extinguishing agents Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.
Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of combustion or resulting gases Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in the event of fire.
Protective equipment Wear self contained respiratory protective device. Do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases.

Measures for environmental protection Do not allow product to reach sewerage system or any water course. Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewerage system. Dilute with plenty of water.

Personal protective equipment
General protective and hygienic measures: Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and foods. Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
Respiratory protection not required
Protection of hands Protective gloves on prolonged contact with skin. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/substance/preparation.

Ecology

General notes
Hazardous for water systems. Do not allow product to reach ground water, water course or undiluted sewerage systems. Danger to drinking water (even in small leakage quantities). Didecyldimethylammonium chloride is biodegradable.The surfactant(s) complies (comply) with the biodegradability criteria (Regulation (EC) No.648/2004). High amounts of the compound into drains or aquatic environments may lead to increased pH values. A high pH value harms aquatic organisms. When diluted (use level) the pH value is reduced and the aqueous waste, emptied into drains is less hazardous.
