Where do you work: Poland
What do you do?
I work in the Technical Department in our factory in Poznan. I am responsible for the Flowtron DVT prophylaxis product range and the Flowtron Hydroven product range. In addition to this, I also take care of the MaxiSlide Sheets and Tubes products. My job is to supervise/control the technical documentation related to “my” products, creating and implementing changes in technical documentation and in general supporting the Engineering (Production) Department.
What is most exciting about your job?
The most exciting part of my job is that you never know what the day will bring. Sometimes I work with production’s problem related to the components we use; sometimes I get absorbed with the countless component specifications and requirements. Every day is a challenge and this job never lets me get bored. However, none of these things would give results without the help and collaboration of the people I work with. Cooperation is an integral part of most of our activities, so my always helpful colleagues are really the best part of my job.
What’s surprised you most about working at ArjoHuntleigh?
This is my first job, after I finished my studies, so I do not have comparison to other ones. I think what surprised me most was how all the departments in our company are related to each other, and one could not exist without other. When in school I don’t think I properly realized the importance of collaboration between departments.
What’s in your view unique about working at ArjoHuntleigh?
The most inspirational about working in ArjoHuntleigh is to see the efforts I put into work, have very measurable effects on the quality of our products. Products which are made right here, downstairs on the production floor. When I see changes and improvements being implemented, it drives me to move continue my efforts. I’m pleased that our products help both patients and caregivers.
